A Twin Falls man has been charged in 5th District Court with possessing child pornography.
Dwayne E. King, a 38-year-old long-haul truck driver, was arraigned Friday on 20 counts of possession of sexually exploitive material.
Police said they found four hard drives in King's home containing exploitive images and videos of children as young as 2.
If convicted, King faces up to 15 years in prison for each count.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Friday in Twin Falls.

Kenneth 'Jack' Hendryx Sentenced to 10 Years for Child Porn
According to a Shoshone County Sheriff release, local sex offender Kenneth "Jack" Hendryx was sentenced to 10 years fixed in prison and 15 years of very strict supervised release.
Hendryx was arrested in 2008 for possession of child pornography, the report continued, and charged as a result of an undercover online investigation by the Shoshone County Sheriff's Office and the FBI.
Shoshone County Sheriff's Office is continuing to work with local federal agencies to try and curb the new crime trend of child pornography.
So far in 2009, the sheriff's office has investigated a large number of child pornography cases compared to years past, the news release said, and enhancements in online tools allowed the department to find people who possessed or traded the pornography.
Citizens are asked to contact the sheriff's office if you have any knowledge of someone possessing or distributing child pornography or any child being a victim of abuse.

Emily Kay Thurber Charged with 11 Sex Crimes Against Children
A 26-year-old Rupert woman charged with 11 sex crimes against children has been scheduled for a preliminary hearing on some of the charges Friday.
Emily Kay Thurber is charged with one count of lewd conduct with a child, one count of sexual battery of a minor child, two counts of sexual abuse of a child, three counts of statutory rape and four counts of criminal conspiracy. Prosecutors say the charges stem from incidents between 2005 and 2008 with two victims. They are split among three separate court cases.
Thurber’s fiance, 30-year-old Joseph David Lentz of Idaho Falls, was accused of taking part in the alleged abuse. He was sentenced in May to four to 16 years in prison for statutory rape and sexual abuse of a child

Wayne Bucklein Arrested for Sexual Assault
After an investigation, A Chubbuck man, already in the Bannock County Jail, will have more charges added to his wrap sheet.
45-year-old Wayne Bucklein was arrested over the weekend for allegedly touching a child inappropriately in the grand stands of the Bannock County Fairgrounds during the POW*MIA rally. The Bannock County Sheriff's office says after an investigation they found Bucklein also allegedly had sexual contact with a vulnerable female at the same place during the 4th of July celebration. Bucklein is in the bannock county jail being held without bond.

Christina Haynes Sentenced to 10 Years for Child Abuse
A northern Idaho mother whose child was abused so badly that doctors had to amputate the girl's feet has been sentenced to 10 years in jail.
Christina Haynes, 27, of St. Maries, was sentenced Friday on one count of felony injury to a child. First District Judge Fred Gibler ordered Haynes to serve at least five years before being eligible for parole.
Haynes pleaded guilty in May, a year after police discovered 3-year-old Kyra Wine, described at near death, at the home of Haynes' boyfriend, Charles Smith.
Doctors performed several surgeries and the community rallied to raise money to help cover medical costs.
Smith, 29, was sentenced to 10 years in prison without parole for his role in the beatings.
The girl and her sister are living with grandparents in St. Maries.

Sean Hale Arrested for Sexual Abuse
Ada County Prosecutors says a violent sex predator is back to his old ways.
Sean Hale, 44, is accused of two very serious crimes -- sexual abuse of a minor and possession of sexually exploitative materials.
"Mr. Hale are you currently working?" asked Judge Theresa Gardunia.
"No," Hale replied over closed circuit video.
"When is the last time that you worked Mr. Hale?"
"Two-and-a-half to three years ago."
"How are you supporting yourself?"
"I live with friends," replied Hale.
This early questioning is meant to determine whether Hale would receive a court appointed lawyer.
It's strictly routine, but so is Hale's appearance in court because this is far from his first time.
In 1994 he was found guilty of a series of very similar crimes involving rape, rape of a child, and child molestation in Washington, so he's already a registered violent sexual predator.
His latest endeavor took place on July 21 with his 16-year-old niece and her 15-year-old boyfriend when he allegedly took them swimming at a private pool.
"He told the female to remove her clothing -- to remove her shirt -- so he could take a picture of her holding her breasts," said the deputy prosecuting attorney.
Soon he got her boyfriend in on the act and took even more pictures until prosecutors say they refused to perform one of Hale's requested poses.
"On the way home from swimming, he informed the male victim not to put back on his clothes, so he rode home naked on this occasion. He also told the female victim to pose sexy and he took pictures with his cell phone," said the prosecutor.
But the photo shoot didn't end there.
Officials say when they got home, he took the boy into a back room, made him watch a pornographic video and took even more pictures.
Those pictures soon led to his capture when one of the victim's friends, who was outside at the time, asked Hale to use his cell phone.
"Mr. Hale said, 'Don't look at my pictures.' And she did so anyway and saw explicit pictures of both the female victim and the male victim," the prosecutor said.
Hale will be back in court in a couple weeks for a preliminary hearing.
Until then, he'll remain in the Ada County Jail on a $1 million bond.

Summer Nelson Charged with Lewd Conduct with Child
An Idaho woman face charges that she had sex with a 14-year-old boy that she was hired to watch in August 2007.
KXLY-TV reported Tuesday that 28-year-old Summer Nelson, of Post Falls, was charged Monday with four counts of lewd conduct with a child.
Court records say Nelson was a friend of the boy’s mother. Police say the abuse was reported in December 2008, after the boy’s mother grew suspicious of Nelson’s attention Nelson toward the boy.
Investigators say Nelson told the boy’s siblings that she was in love with their brother. Detectives say Nelson and the boy had at least four sexual encounters.
Nelson remains held in Kootenai County Jail on $50,000 bond. It was not immediately known whether she had a lawyer.

Scott Beck Arrested for Sexual Abuse
A Bonneville County man is arrested after a teenage girl comes forward saying she was sexually abused by this family friend for the past two years.
According to law enforcement, 46 year old Scott Beck of Ammon was arrested June 26th on two felony counts of sexual abuse of a child under the age of 16.
According to statements the victim made to investigators, Beck started inappropriately touching her in the summer of 2007. Over time, the abuse progressed from touching and kissing to more serious acts, says the report. Violation dates are from June 2007 to June 2009, according to Prosecutor Dane Watkins Junior.
Beck is currently out on $25,000 bond. He will be back in court next week for his preliminary hearing.
He faces up to 25 years in prison on each count if convicted.

Sexual Abuse Prevention Education
One in four girls and one in six boys will be sexually abused before they reach eighteen. That is why there is a program in Idaho Falls that wants to educate leaders and other adults to try to prevent and stop sexual abuse of kids.
The program shows videos of survivors who tell their stories of being abused by friends and family members.
The instruction also shows how to prevent and recognize abuse. It also teaches how to react once the abuse is reported so that the child would only have to be interviewed once by law enforcement and counselors.
Brandi Warnke is a licensed social worker and says that, "The child who discloses sexual abuse is going out on a very scary limb. And so the adult the information is disclosed to has to be aware of how to handle that appropriately, so the child doesn't have to continuously have to face the trauma, over and over and over."
Warnke says sexual abuse is like a silent epidemic and the program helps educate people to make a change in the community.
She hopes to expand the programs to the schools.

Dale Gilbert Arrested for Sexual Exploitation of Child
Dale Gilbert, 60, could spend the next decade on probation and have to register as a sex offender for life for two counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
Police say Gilbert was caught in October when a fellow guest at a Vista Avenue hotel noticed what he was doing on a shared computer folder viewed over the hotel's wireless network. Gilbert was originally charged with nine counts, but seven were dropped Tuesday as part of a plea agreement with Ada County prosecutors, who are recommending a suspended 10-year prison sentence, sex offender treatment and perhaps up to 180 days in jail. He will be sentenced Aug. 4.
