Kristofer McMullen Sentenced to 30 Months for Child Porn

A St. Charles man was sentenced to 30 months in prison and must register for life as a sex offender after he pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography on Friday.

Kristofer R. McMullen, 30, of the 1800 block of Walnut Street, St. Charles, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography stemming from a December 2007 search of his home. At that time, St. Charles police seized two computers that later turned up the presence of several movies and videos of children engaged in sex acts.

  1. It was not his home, nor his computers. Others used that computer, and some of the stuff was downloaded while he was at work. After making him sit in jail for years waiting to go to trial, he plead guilty because he was a broken man and just wanted to get out. Just because people plead guilty does not make them guilty, it is the way our justice system works. They were not going to let him out of there until he plead guilty-imagine the lawsuit they would have for wrongfully accusing someone of such a crime. The states attorney must always win, they don't care if they have the real criminal in custody or not. There is a lot more to this case than meets the eye. Such is the case for a lot of sex offenders cases, and the true offenders walk scott free. Justice is only for the wealthy.
