A Fond du Lac teen charged with sexual assault of a child younger than 12 made his first appearance in Walworth County Court on Friday.
A June 26 preliminary hearing is scheduled for Anthony R. Teifke, 18, of Fond du Lac. He is accused of having sexual intercourse in May with a young girl he knows, according to the criminal complaint.
Teifke also faces a charge of possession of child pornography in Fond du Lac, according to the complaint.
If convicted on the sexual assault charge, Teifke faces 60 years in prison. He remains in the Walworth County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond.
