Nashua police have charged a 53-year-old man with aggravated felonious sexual assault and four counts of exposing minors to harmful materials.
Police said Jose Trinidad Carbajal spelling was watching a pornographic movie in his basement apartment on Ledge Street while some children were playing in the neighborhood. Police said Carbajal lured several of the children to a window and showed them graphic pictures and exposed them to the DVD.
Police said two children went inside Carbajal's apartment.
Court documents said a third child was given five dollars $5 and change before Carbajal inappropriately touched her.
"He was actually helping one of the minor children in through a window and while doing so he inappropriately touched this child," said Sgt. Thomas MacLeod, of the Nashua police department.
Police said the children were all between 8 and 11 years old.
Court records said a search of the apartment recovered several computer generated pictures that were sexually explicit as well as a pornographic DVD.
Carbajal's bail was set at $30,000. He will be back in court in July.
An investigation is ongoing.
