David Robert Anders, 45 of Davenport learned Thursday he will spend the next 12 and a half years in federal prison for receiving and child pornography.
Anders must also serve a term of 10 years supervised release following his incarceration and pay $100 to the Crime Victim Fund.
The U.S. District Attorney's office says Anders received and distributed the child pornography through the use of the peer to peer file sharing software Limewire.
Investigators were able to connect an IP address that was known to have downloaded child pornographic images to Anders. Davenport police searched Anders home and found images on his computer. Several of the images were that of known child victims.
