A Pahrump teenager and her 24-year-old boyfriend were arrested after their 2-month-old daughter suffered cardiac arrest and was rushed to a hospital.
Police charged Bianca Razo-Pina, 18, and Efren Chavez with child neglect. They are being held in the Nye County Detention Center.
Doctors at Desert View Hospital had the girl flown via air ambulance to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas. She is in critical condition with extensive brain injuries. Police said the child also had numerous bruises and other injuries to her body.
