A Falls County man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a 3-year-old girl.
Calvin Nail, of Chilton, was arrested Tuesday and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child. He remains in the Falls County Detention Center in lieu of $100,000 bond.
According to a press release from Sheriff Ben Kirk, the sheriff's office was alerted of an injury to the 3-year-old girl Monday evening. The girl was examined by medical officials in Waco and it was determined that she had been sexually assaulted, the press release said.
The investigation is ongoing.
